AUTODROMO DI MONZAThe Autodromo di Monza is located in the park that is owned by the municipalities of Monza and Milan and has been built and operated from the outset by SIAS SpA (Increase Motoring Society and Sport), the Company Federated Automobile Club of Italy. The foundation of SIAS came with wide participation of institutions, banks, industries and sports and the Shareholders are the Milan Automobile Club (70%) and its real estate (30%). The Monza was built in 1922, in just 110 days for both host races that lend themselves to experimentation in the field of cars and motorbikes. Since then, except for the war and other issues (Livorno 1937 Milan 1947, Turin 1948, Imola 1980) the Italian Grand Prix was always played on the road track in Monza. Before the Autodromo di Monza in the whole world existed circuits Brooklands (built in 1907) and Indianapolis (built in 1909).
