Modica is one of the most picturesque cities of the province of Sicily. The town can be called a real “chocolate district”, characterized by the presence of many qualified producers, which in recent years have been able to renew an old tradition. The recipe has been handed down in ‘the ancient county of Modica by the ruling families Spanish conquistadors who were returning from Mexico.
