The Conca d’Oro, is the plain on which lies the city of Palermo. It stretches for about one hundred square miles, from under the pads of Bagheria and Villabate east until west, and was once cultivated with citrus trees, from which the name, linked to the typical colors of the fruit echoing the gold. Bagheria is the second largest town in the province ahead in the ranking of the population from the capital only. Bagheria, a beautiful town has a strong tourist attraction thanks to Ville Ides Bagheria; among which the most famous is certainly the Princes Villa Palagonia Palagonia Gravina.
