The Province of Caserta embodies all the elements that make an area rich in terms of natural landscape. The area extends from the coastal zone up to the Matese Mountains, located in the heart of the Campania Region.
If it is true that the Campania region, due to the variety of environmental conditions, is a miniature reproduction of the whole world, certainly the area of Caserta contributes strongly to this reality.
The variety of the territory brings with it a diversity of flora ranging from the Mediterranean to medicinal herbs, Robina, oaks, chestnuts, oaks, maple and hornbeam.
The whole area is full of large areas planted with orchards, vineyards, olive groves. As regards fauna, finally, it goes from the typical Mediterranean marine, river and lake to the mountain that sees the presence of birds of prey, hares, martens, wild boars.
