SANTA TERESA GALLURAThis well-known seaside resort overlooking the Strait of Bonifacio is situated in the northernmost part of the mainland of Sardinia, and is the embarkation point for Corsica, which is only 14 km away. Built in 1808 on an urban project personally sketched by Victor Emmanuel I occupies a small promontory that juts out of a deep bay. The many beaches of its rugged coastline and natural beauty of the environment that surrounds have made it a very popular tourist resort.
